A little bump in the Road

Today I got the sack from the Walkabout Lodge. This was the first time in my life where I have actually thought to myself I really don't have anywhere to go. I was told to pack my bags and leave. I did that and I have been camping out in my friends room trying to sort my stuff out.

My first thought was obviously ah well I'll just go back to Canada, the going is getting tough I'll just go home. I very quickly said to myself "NO!, you cant do that!" This is all part of my experience of living, working and travelling overseas and I will work my way through this.

I have this lovely friend here at the Walkabout named Melissa and luckily her and her boyfriend are house sitting right now and they have given me a place to stay. I'm not sure how long I can stay there but at least I have a roof over my head.

I was meant to leave for Darwin on Tuesday which is in 4 days so it isn't that big of a deal, I'm glad to be forced to be on my way now.

When travelling you can't let these things get to you, this I have learned. There are always going to bumps and curves in the road and you just learn to deal with them. I'm starting to get very anxious to get back home and sometimes I question myself as to how much more I can possibly take of this.

This is just one of the many bumps in the road I have had and the ones that are still to come.
